Alinda Franks

With over 20 years of experience serving businesses in the for-profit, non-profit, and government sectors, Alinda has developed valuable expertise in workforce training, data collection and analysis, and in working directly with private business clients. Alinda had worked with ITAC in the past, and joined the organization again in 2011 as Community Affairs Director, where she is responsible for partnership and opportunity development. Her responsibilities include managing all business development activities and outreach to small and medium-sized manufacturing and technology companies via events, seminars, workshops and other networking avenues. She also manages stakeholder, legislator and other partner relationships, and oversees public and private funding opportunities.

Prior to rejoining ITAC, Alinda served as Director of the NYC Business Solutions Training Funds program at the NYC Department of Small Business Services (SBS) for four years, building it from startup to a multimillion-dollar grant-making program. She also served as the Executive Director of the Workforce Development Corporation, a non-profit affiliated with SBS.

Alinda holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Baruch College and a Master of Advanced Studies degree in Management from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
