How ITAC Partners With Resources
ITAC partners with external consultants, known within ITAC as “Resources”, to provide our manufacturers with the expertise they need to improve, grow and remain competitive. ITAC is proud to have very solid, long-standing relationships with our Resources. ITAC’s Resources benefit from partnering with ITAC in several ways:
- ITAC acts as their sales and marketing arm, providing them with qualified leads and enabling them to secure consulting work that they may not have otherwise secured.
- ITAC pre-qualifies prospects, helps develop the project scope, and handles all administrative requirements thereby significantly reducing each Resource’s “selling” time and associated costs.
- Our experts benefit from limited liability: with all contracts written between ITAC and our manufacturers, our Resources are guaranteed full payment, provided all the project requirements are met.
Partnering with Resources allows ITAC to offer a wider range of high-quality services at a reasonable cost to our manufacturers, as our Resources offer us preferential pricing in exchange for the value that ITAC adds through the benefits outlined above. Most Resources we partner with care deeply about local manufacturing and seek to help small and medium manufacturers with reduced fees.
Step 1: Learn About ITAC’s Service Offerings
Before you apply to become an ITAC Resource, we encourage you to learn more about the range of services that we provide. Click on the ITAC Services tab to get an understanding of how we help NYC manufacturers pursue strategic growth opportunities, improve their efficiency, productivity and performance, and implement innovative technologies.
Step 2: Fill Out and Submit Your Application
If you are interested in becoming an ITAC Resource after learning about ITAC in Step 1, the next step is to complete our Resource Application. You can access the application by clicking on the Resource Application tab immediately above.
Step 3: Resource Interview Process
Your submitted Resource Application will be reviewed by ITAC and we will be in touch to schedule interviews. The initial interview focuses on helping us get a better understanding of your background and your area(s) of expertise. If there is a good fit, you will then be invited to interview with members of ITAC’s client-facing and leadership teams. Upon completion of the Resource Interview process, ITAC will notify you on your application’s status.
Step 4: Resource Approval
If you are selected to be an ITAC Resource, we will then complete the onboarding process. ITAC will provide you with our standard resource collaboration agreement for you to sign. Once complete, as potential project opportunities arise that align with your areas of expertise, ITAC will engage with you to explore such opportunities.
